The answers to the more frequently asked questions!

1) What is your exchange / refund policy?
We will happily exchange an item or offer a refund if you are not 100% satisfied. This applies to all stock items such as shoes, jewellery and accessories.

We cannot exchange items which are special orders such as wedding dresses, wedding veils, and wedding tiaras, or wedding shoes which have been dyed. These involve a large choice of options and are therefore custom-made to your liking. We are therefore not in a position to sell this on. For hygiene reasons we cannot exchange certain underwear and earrings for pierced ears. If goods are faulty or sent in error they will of course be exchanged.

We want you to be perfectly happy with your order, if you are unhappy with your custom made item please get in touch and we will try to alter or modify it for you.

2) How do I return an item?
You must inform us by telephone or email as soon as is practically possible if you are not happy with the item, and return it to us via recorded or special delivery, ensuring that the item/s are covered for insurances purposes. The cost of returning an item lies with you unless the item is faulty or sent in error.

Send all returns to:

3) Can I get a free swatch?

4) Can you do rush orders?
We do offer a rush order service. This must be done by telephone to discuss your requirements and to agree whether your timescales are achievable. This service does incur a surcharge of £10 for shoes and veils posted to mainland UK. This is to allow for special delivery etc. For other services please enquire.

Please check the delivery schedules for the item/s you are purchasing in the main menu on the left had side. There are different delivery times for different items. We do not guarantee any delivery dates. These are purely as guidance.

If you are worried about getting your order in time then please use the “rush orders” service. Your order will then be given priority. Rush orders can only be taken by telephone only on 0845 4662266. International callers please call 0044 15394 33400.

5) Are your wedding shoes wide fitting?
We buy all of our wedding and First Holy Communion shoes from Rainbow Club and Gabriella & Lucido. In our experience the shoes are an average fit. We advise that you order your usual size or half a size bigger. You will probably be on your feet for a large part of the day and your feet may swell with the heat. Having a shoe slightly bigger than usual will accommodate this. If in doubt when you first try on your wedding shoes, try inserting a half-insole under the ball of your foot. This will push the foot further back into the shoe and will give you added comfort.

6) Can I try on my shoes and send them back for dying?
Brides often want to ensure a good fit before dying their shoes, or may want to dye their shoes after the wedding. This will incur more P&P charges than ordering to be dyed at the initial ordering stage. The cost is £20 per pair plus £11.00 P&P. This includes us sending your shoes out to you initially. You will then be asked to try them on and assuming they fit , then we will ask you to send them directly to Rainbow, who will dye them and send them directly back to you! If you wish to do this please telephone your order through and we will arrange with Rainbow to have your shoes dyed.
Once fitted you will need to send your shoes to

Rainbow Club Ltd
3 Hennock Court
Hennock Road
March Barton
Exeter
EX2 8RU

We will send out a form with your shoes for you to attach a 2" x 2" colour swatch to. You will also need to check the form and add your wedding date and latest required by date.

Standard dying takes approximately 10 days from receipt of shoe at Rainbow to despatch from Rainbow.
Gold service is dyed within 5 days and Platinum service is dyed by next day.

Standard service is £20
Gold Service is £40
Platinum Service is £80

7) Can I re-dye shoes after my wedding?
Yes you can send back shoes following all of the instructions above.
Please remember that only shoes which have NOT been waterproofed can be re-dyed. The water resistant sprays prevent the dye from penetrating the fabric evenly causing unsightly blotching.

8) How do you transport a wedding dress on an aeroplane without it getting wrinkled?
You will have to enquire with the airline. Some allow dress bags in the main body of the plane and the staff will let you hang it at the back of the plane. Others insist that it goes in the hold. If this is the case, then pack it carefully into its own suitcase, interlayered with lots of acid free tissue paper. It still may need some attention at the other end. Hanging your gown in a humid environment helps. Enquire as to whether you have a pressing service where you are going.
